As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be working with clients and candidates from across the North East region. You will likely start by specialising in Social Care and so will be supported to learn about the social care industry.

You will start your training on our Registration Team where you will learn about the candidate side of our business.

You will learn about our values when it comes to delivering an excellent and personalised level of candidate care.
You will learn about GDPR and Data Protection practices to ensure you manage and use candidate data safely and securely.
You will learn about our company policies and the processes we have in place.
You will source new and quality candidates utilising the range of resources and tools given to you, such as CV databases, Job boards etc.
You will telephone prospective candidates to assess their interest in any job opportunities we have available, or in registering with the agency for future opportunities.
You will informally interview candidates on the telephone and via video call.
You will communicate with candidates in writing, sending them key information and digital forms to complete.
You will collate completed forms and monitor the progress of a caseload of candidates.
You will request references and chase referees when references have not been completed in a timely manner.
You may meet with candidates face to face (when it is safe to do so) to complete an induction with them, discussing key policies and explaining to them the processes they need to follow when confirming availability, submitting timesheets and so on.
You will ensure candidate registrations meet key compliance requirements as dictated by the Compliance Manager.
You will match candidates to temporary and permanent assignments and opportunities.
You will deliver a high standard of candidate care, keeping in regular contact with your candidates, giving them updates on their registration and answering any queries they may have.
