Nineteen Recruitment is an award winning, independent recruitment company that specialises in supplying temporary staffing and permanent recruitment services to the Education, Social Care and Public Sector recruitment.

We are looking for a skilled Recruiter with key experience in the Education sector, to take on this challenging but equally rewarding role. In order to find the right person for the position, we are open to candidates who may wish to work part time, full time, or on a flexible basis.

Roles and Responsibilities

As an Education specialist Recruitment Consultant, you will be working with clients and candidates from across the North East region. These clients are predominantly secondary school based but you may work occasionally with primary schools, virtual schools and further education clients. You will take responsibility for servicing existing clients, building your own candidate pool and developing relationships with new client schools.

You will source new and quality candidates (namely Teachers and teaching support staff but this is not exhaustive), utilising the range of resources and tools given to you.
You will meet and interview (virtually until safe to do so in person) new candidates and oversee their registration with the agency.
You will ensure candidate registrations meet key compliance requirements as dictated by the Compliance Manager.
You will match candidates to temporary and permanent assignments and opportunities.
You will meet (virtually until safe to do so in person) with existing clients to assess their needs and requirements, and tailor your service(s) to meet those requirements.
You will deliver a high standard of candidate care, keeping in regular contact with your candidates, ascertaining how they are getting on when on assignment, ascertaining candidate availability and recognising when candidates have made key contributions.
You will work towards, meet and exceed, targets with regards to GP generated on a monthly basis.
You will undertake regular business development with the key objective of growing your client base and providing increased opportunities to your candidates.
You will work independently, managing your own time, your own diary and own responsibilities.

An excellent understanding of the education sector.
Key experience of recruiting for education, ideally experienced within both temporary and permanent recruitment.
A passion for recruiting ethically and fairly.
A strong drive and motivation
A demonstratable history of meeting and/or exceeding targets
Strong sales skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Confidence
The ability to cope well in a fast paced working environment.
A driving license and access to vehicle for work is desireable but not essential
