The successful candidate will commence their employment via Nineteen Recruitment and following a qualifying period will transfer over to a permanent contract with the support provider.

The contract is on a full time basis and will consist of day shifts and sleepover shifts in this CQC registered service for adults with enduring mental health.

Support Workers are responsible for key working and supporting residents in their recovery and independence. Providing assistance and guidance to support them to manage and maintain their licence agreements and live independently within the community. Offering support with practical skills such as cooking, budgeting and shopping as well as supporting them to access the community; activities, socialising, education, training or employment. Working closely with professionals and agencies involved in client's support towards achieving their personal goals. Supporting clients ultimately to move on to a more independent living arrangement within the community.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the support of adults with enduring mental health; understanding and non judgmental; dedicated to providing person centred support and promoting independence; confident in managing crisis situations.

Level 3 qualification or equivalent and current care related mandatory training is required.
