Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people in their day-to-day activities, which may include facilitating school attendance, meal planning, and recreational activities.
- Foster a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, helping them develop essential life skills.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of each child's progress and any significant incidents.
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to agency policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a residential care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with children and young people.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license, business insurance and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
- Ideally, you will be qualified to level 3 and have undertaken training in safeguarding, CSE, H&S, E&D, Missing and Notification, Restraint and more.

Pay: £12.59-£18.89 per hour
