Job Description

1.1 Deal with tenancy sign ups, terminations and general advice to tenants and residents.

1.2 Provide secretarial and administrative support to the managers required.

1.3 Work as part of the team and assist in covering the front-line housing and area management office when necessary, giving housing and general advice where appropriate.

1.4 Undertake general administrative duties within the office including word processing, filing, post, application processing, photocopying etc.

1.5 Assist with customer telephone enquiries and provide a message taking service.

1.6 Provide IT support to officers in relation to document templates.

1.7 Maintain computerised record systems, including statistical information and produce reports where required.

1.8 Process, within target times, written, electronic and verbal requests for services.

1.9 Accurately maintain manual and electronic filing systems collating information when required.

1.10 Maintain stationery supplies and attendance records.

2.1 Support the promotion of a ‘can do’ culture in the team, with a complete focus on improved outcomes for residents and communities.

2.2 Work with colleagues effectively, ensuring you support each other to get the best outcomes for residents and communities.

2.3 Support the development of an integrated team that views and works with local communities in a joined-up manner by sharing information and responding to information requests appropriately

3.1 Understand and work towards the Corporate Strategies

3.2 Contribute towards ensuring that all operational activity and resources are geared towards delivering a value for money service.
